In recent times, Directorate General of Tax, faces many challenges, people wants to know,where and what for, with their tax paying,
As people knows that their tax paying goes to built roads, bridges, hospitals, schools and so on, but criticism has rose, many holes in roads, endangered them whom passed the roads,Many people who โThe have notโ still difficult to get health facilities, so in education, many children still get difficult access, especially in urban area and their school building are low standard of quality,
But, in fact, Directorate General of Tax is institution which responsible of Government revenue, and other institutions responsible to use that funds, people not aware yet, it may needs sustainability education,
Focus on what people wants from their government is every employee in Directorate General of Tax, live in humble life, not showing their wealth on not proportional way, because the gap between the Rich and the Poor still far, they must showing emphaty
There are some ideas that stated here according to some problems above :
First, coordination and consolidation from department to department,it means that Governmentโs spending in developing infrastructures, like roads, bridges and so on must be useful and meet the goal,
Ministry of Finance has that duty, sure with all employees of Ministry of Finance,
So people can feel that tax that their payed was use to something useful, they believe, and they trusted,
Second, Asset Report to KPK and Inspectorate General, must be clear, true, and in time
material and formal,
Third, introducing Reversal Burden of Proof, every employee must be prepaired, if some of their assets will be confirming, they must provide evidences, to make sure that their assets are clear,
Fourth, it may needs some generations to rebuilt new generations, that really meet with our ideal institusion, but we must optimistic about our future, from now we must change, change for more better,
Fifth, people watching, means it may needs supervising, reviewing, from many sides, people, massmedia, and internal supervision,
Sixth, no one above the law, means that every people is the same, law is the command,
Now, How to reborn,
There are many efforts that we can achieve :
- Increasing all employeeโs obedience to report all their assets, to KPK or Inspectorate General, with 100% submitted, with material is true, valid, and as formal is in time,
- All employeeโs willing, to provide evidences, if their assets need to be confirm,
- Open with publicโs input, to be verify, that are valid and constructive,
- Supervising, from internal and external and follow up the result with responsible,
- Sustainability review with all the results,
With experience in the past, what happened now and then, Directorate General of Tax continue growing in many aspect endorsed by leaders and all employees, to be more clean, transparence, accountable meet with public expectations,
But the road not always easy, some of us, means in internal, not agree, not following the rule, causing many distractions in our journey to our ideal institution,
Morality is the other side aspect, with all complete rules, watching by many parts, but many cases still happened,
Morality include integrity and influence by our religion is the last fortress, it is our final defense,
But we must optimistic with our future, our next generations will be more better, in competency, morality, integrity,
Faces by many challenges, fraud, corruption, collution, technological development, public demands, we still going straight forward to our aim, stronger Directorate General of Tax, Indonesia in advance,
As conclusion of our discussion above, there are some points that we can pick, that listed below :
# Reversal Burden of Proof, must be soon to apply, especially in case of, clarification of some facts, some data, needs to be review, organization, all employee must be prepaired,
# Obedience to report all assets to authorized institution, with true, valid data, and submitted in time,
# Supervising from internal and external institution, follow up their findings with complete,
# Open with public suggestions and input, follow up their suggestions and input, after verification and crossing data, if the results are valid, must be follow up, until thorough,
# Sustainability, not ended at step but always continue, improvement to be more better.
